This 5-day residential program is an intensive form of the internationally recognized, eight-session Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) training developed by Christopher Germer and Kristin Neff. It is open to laypeople and professionals alike.

LEARNING OUTCOMES.

One of the most important outcomes is to learn to genuinely give oneself the care and compassion in the way we naturally give to others.

Skills and practices taught in the program will enable you to

  • Practice self-compassion in daily life
  • Understand the science of self-compassion
  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Manage caregiver fatigue
  • Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation
  • Teach simple self-compassion exercises to clients mindfulness and self-compassion into daily life

This program can be claimed as CPD, and fulfils a pre-requisite for MSC teacher training.
