During this nurturing day you will learn about self compassion through discussion and simple, safe practises. Mindful Self-Compassion, or MSC, can help reduce anxiety, depression and self criticism. It is known to improve feelings of wellbeing, resilience, self motivation and the quality of our relationships
You do not need any experience to enjoy or benefit from this course. You are invited to be here by 8.45 am in order to begin at 9am. The day will consist of discussions, exercise and practises and is an introduction to further Mindful Self-Compassion training as developed and researched by Dr Kristen Neff and Dr Christopher Germer.
Drinks and snacks will be available all day and lunch will be provided. During the hour and a half lunch break there will be time to walk in the local area and relax in the pool and spa.
If you wish and you have one please bring your meditation cushion or seat. You may also want to bring comfortable walking shoes and your swimwear! Everything else, including handouts for the workshop will be provided.
Please let me know of you have any specific dietary requirements. The meal will be vegetarian, but not vegan and will be gluten free.
