Connect with your compassionate self at this stunning ocean-side retreat center in the San Juan Islands of Washington State!
Interested in learning to be more aware of your emotions and kinder to yourself when you’re suffering? Join instructors Tim & Catherine of Mindfulness Northwest for a 5-day residential training in Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) at Orcas Island’s beautiful retreat site, Indralaya, in the San Juan Islands. Simple but comfortable accommodations and all meals are included.
This training includes all of the elements of the widely offered 8-week MSC course. Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) was developed by Christopher K. Germer, PhD, leader in the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy, and Kristin Neff, PhD, pioneering researcher in the field of self-compassion. MSC combines the skills of mindfulness and self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience.
Indralaya is a gorgeous 80-acre forested camp on the incredible shores of Orcas Island, WA. This beautiful natural environment is a fantastic support for mindful connection with our compassionate selves and others. Mindfulness Northwest is a non-profit mindfulness teaching organization that offers heartfelt, caring, evidence-based instruction in mindfulness to communities in the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
The training will begin with dinner at 6pm on the 9th and conclude before lunch on the 14th. The island is in the Pacific Time Zone.
