Hello and a very warm welcome to our London 5 Day Intensive!

We have been blessed to find an exquisite space to hold our next London MSC Intensive. Lekdanling (Tibetan for “place of good fortune”) is a new Tibetan cultural centre located in the vibrant neighbourhood of Hackney, East London. The centre was created in a spirit of openness and welcomes people from all walks of life who are interested in the study of the human mind, self-development and inner understanding. We feel that this is the perfect place to open our hearts to learn Mindful Self-Compassion.

The 5 Day Intensive provides all the teachings of the 8-week course, potently condensed into 5 days. We offer a tender and safe space to immerse yourself in the MSC teachings. Liz and I will gently guide you through formal meditation, informal practices, educational discourse, experiential exercises and group discussion. You will directly experience self-compassion and learn practices that evoke self-compassion in your daily life.

Research by Kristin Neff demonstrates the proven benefits of Mindful Self-Compassion safely and effectively improves your health by:
• enhancing emotional well-being
• building resilience
• boosting happiness
• reducing anxiety
• reducing depression

Self-compassion can be learned by anyone. No previous meditation, mindfulness or compassion practice is required. All that is required is a willingness to be open, to explore MSC skills gently and at your own pace.

As part of the experience you will receive a copy of the MSC Workbook by Drs Neff and Germer, with all the practices and research information. You will also receive audio recordings of all the practices you learn on the course, so that you can leave knowing you have resources to help you deepen and develop your practice. Plus, an exclusive bonus for all Kind Mind Academy Graduates is FREE access to a daily online practice with Kathryn and Liz and their Kind Mind Graduate Community.

To keep the costs low, we are offering this training as a non-residential. This will enable those that live in London, neighbouring areas and those on a fast train to London, to be able to join us without having to find the additional costs of accommodation. Of course, we often have adventurous people flying in from all over the world. This way you can give yourself the gift of MSC and enjoy some sightseeing as part of your trip!
We are offering this training during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. We hope this will support all those who usually find it difficult to take time off work.
