The Short Course in MSC is a 6-hr adaptation of Mindful Self-Compassion, the empirically supported program of Dr. Kristin Neff at UT Austin and Dr. Chris Germer at Harvard Medical School. This training aims to improve wellbeing and personal resilience by teaching mindful self-compassion skills to deal with distressing emotional situations as they occur in daily life.
In this course you will learn to:
• Practice mindfulness and self-compassion in daily life
• Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
• Motivate yourself more effectively with kindness rather than criticism
• Reduce caregiver fatigue
• Live in accord with your values, which leads to a happier more satisfying life
