Our lives are full and busy – often this feels good and productive until we notice that we have in a way forgotten how to rest and to take things easy. Just going on vacation might not do the trick as we are taking the busy mind with us. We might need to unplug for a few days and turn the attention lovingly onto our present moment experience.
We immerse ourselves for 7 days in the stillness that only the present moment can bring. By taking away our regular distractions of family, internet, news, TV, work and even books we allow a not only stillness but also contentment and joy arise that is independent of the constant stimulation from outside.
This is a silent retreat in the Vipassana tradition and it meets the requirements for a silent teacher led meditation retreat for MBSR/MBCT/MSC teachers. We will alternate periods of sitting meditation with mindful walking. We will also practice daily movement/yoga and the body scan.
