Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported 8-week program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. It was developed by Christopher Germer, PhD, a leader in the integration of mindfulness and psychotherapy and Kristin Neff, PhD, a pioneering researcher in the field of self-compassion. The Fall MSC 2016 class begins with an introduction session, and a retreat is scheduled midway through the course. Instructor Sabrina Vogler, LMSW, CPC, CGSS is a Mindfulness Coach and trained teacher of MSC in Rochester, NY.
This class is held nine consecutive Monday evenings with the exception of Monday, October 31st. A Saturday retreat is scheduled for October 29th from 9am until noon.
