Course Navigation

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a research-based training program designed to help participants cultivate the life-changing skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Dr. Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Dr. Chris Germer, MSC offers skills and practices to help you respond to life’s difficulties with greater awareness, kindness, and understanding. Self-compassion is a powerful inner resource that allows you to meet life with greater courage, resilience, and wisdom. Learning to honor and embrace your humanity with presence and love can transform relationships, inspire creativity, and enrich your connection to life.

Program activities include discussion of topics, experiential exercises, meditation (no previous experience necessary), small group interaction, and home practices. Handouts will be provided for supporting your self-compassion practice between sessions.
