We all agree we should be kinder to ourselves, but the challenge is often where to start & how to break old habits. Integrative Wellness’ Mindful Self-Compassion Workshop provides simple tools for responding in a kind, compassionate way whenever we are experiencing painful emotions. Through discussion, meditation, and experiential exercises participants gain practical skills to help bring self compassion into their daily lives.
Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Christopher Germer, Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported, eight-week workshop designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care and understanding.
The Spring 2018 Mindful Self-Compassion trainings will be held every Wednesday evening, May 23rd – July 18th, 2018 from 6pm – 8:30pm. The program includes an additional 4-hour silent retreat to be scheduled in late June.
