I will be teaching an 8 Week Mindful Self Compassion class, beginning on Thursday, April 4th from 4:30-7 PM in Laguna Beach. The class series will end on Thursday, May 30th (and skip Thursday, May 23rd). Missing a class or two is not a problem, given the Weekly Recaps and homework exercises.
Each of the 2.5 hour classes (and a 4 hour retreat) will include meditation, brief talks, experiential exercises and group discussion – all designed to cultivate the skill of self compassion.
The cost for the class series is $600 and $400 for those repeating the class. A sliding fee scale is available for those who need it, as well as a scholarship.
Rapidly expanding research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional well-being, less anxiety, depression, & stress.
