Research into The Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) Course has shown that this program enhances emotional well-being, increases happiness, reduces anxiety and depression and can help maintain healthy lifestyle habits.
In this program you will learn how to treat yourself as you would a good friend when they suffer in some way. Life can be both fulfilling and sometimes stressful and when faced with setbacks, instead of hardly judging or criticizing yourself, you will learn to accept that you are human and apply new skills to support yourself.
MSC may provide particular benefits to those in caregiver roles, either personally or professionally and to those in health or healing modalities. While the MSC program is for anyone, parents of children and teens experiencing mental health challenges are another group that have greatly benefited from the MSC program. Being both mindful and compassionate leads to greater ease and well-being in our daily lives, while acknowledging that we share ‘common humanity’ brings a sense of community and warm heartedness to our learning.
