Created by Kristen Neff and Christopher Germer in 2012, the MSC program teaches resources to enhance self-compassion, as well as reduce caregiver burnout. The program consists of eight weekly two and 1/2 hour classes, and a half-day silent retreat (on a Saturday) between sessions five and six.
We ask all our participants to commit to attending all classes, and to a daily home practice of about 30 minutes a day. We know we are asking a lot! To accommodate unpredictable changes in your busy schedule, participants can exercise their “swap option”, and attend a class at another location during the same week.
