Course Navigation

.Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported, 8 week, training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Kristen Neff, Ph.D and Chris Germer, Ph.D.

Self- Compassion is a way to train the heart and mind to respond to life’s difficult moments with kindness and compassion rather than self-criticism and judgment. It can be learned by anyone, even those who didn’t receive enough affection in childhood or those who feel uncomfortable when they are good to themselves. It provides emotional strength and resilience, makes it easier for us to admit our shortcomings, motivate ourselves with kindness, forgive ourselves when needed, relate wholeheartedly to others, and be more authentically ourselves.

More information and registration: Please contact Pauline Wakeham at Peacefulresolution@gmail.com or 510-377-1082 if you have further questions. In order to reserve a space you need mail a check for your class tuition (or a deposit if paying the tuition in full is problematic) to Pauline Wakeham LCSW, 446 Old County Road, unit 100-215, Pacifica CA 94044. I need 8 participants in order for the class to run. Once the training is full there will be a waitlist.
