Course Navigation

The 8-Week Course is the best way to discover the theory and practice of Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC). The course includes meditation, instruction, writing exercises, and group discussion as well as in-session practice of the skills we are learning. No prior meditation experience is necessary. Everyone is welcome!

A growing body of research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, an ability to cope with life challenges, a healthier lifestyle, more satisfying personal relationships, and lower levels of anxiety and depression. In this class you will discover the science and physiology behind self-compassion and learn the skills to practice self-compassion in your daily life.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is a wonderful tool for people of all ages, from teens to retirement age. This class is welcoming to all and everyone can benefit from an increase in self-compassion. Often parents and people working in caregiving professions find the practices of MSC particularly helpful. The 8-Week course has been approved for 12 Continuing Education Hours for LPCs and Social Workers.
