Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an empirically-supported, training program designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Based on the groundbreaking research of Dr. Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Dr. Christopher Germer, MSC teaches core principles and practices that enable participants to respond to difficult moments in their lives with kindness, care, and wisdom, in ways that benefit yourself and all around you.
A growing body of research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, an ability to cope with life challenges, a healthier lifestyle, more satisfying personal relationships, and lower levels of anxiety and depression. In these sessions you will discover the science and physiology behind self-compassion and learn the skills to practice self-compassion in your daily life, through the demonstration of simple but powerful experiential exercises and practices.

This course will consist of 8 weekly sessions on Wednesday’s Online via Zoom, plus a half day retreat on Saturday 1st April.

Claire Raworth is a social worker, counsellor and trained MSC teacher with over 30 years experience.  She lives in Melbourne, Australia. She is passionate about self compassion and its ability to make a powerful difference in many aspects of our lives, and loves to see the transformation this work renders in others. www.rawortherapy.com.au

Jo Gniel is a relationship counsellor (Emotionally Focused Therapist), coach and trained teacher of Mindful Self Compassion.
