This course will run online on Tuesday mornings from 9.30am – 12.30pm UK time. The course starts on Tuesday 27 April and finishes on Tuesday 22 June (no session on Tuesday 1st June). Each session is 3 hours, with a 15 minute break in the middle. There is an additional Retreat session on Sunday 6 June 10am – 1pm UK time.
Through exercises, meditations, self-reflection and sharing you will learn ways to grow greater inner strength, acceptance and joy. The course combines the skills of mindfulness with self-compassion, providing a powerful tool for emotional resilience.
Weekly emails and personalised guided meditations by the teachers complement the in-class learning and a commitment to some cultivation of the approach in between sessions is essential. The published ‘MSC workbook’ by Neff and Germer is highly recommended as supplementary material.
All welcome, no prior experience of mindfulness necessary. Zoe is a senior Certified CMSC teacher, mentor and teacher trainer and Catherine is an experienced practitioner, teaching mindfulness and self-compassion over many years in both group and 1:1 settings. Together, we are well placed to support you fully on your self-compassion path.
