Join Jasmine & Lucy to practice and develop the skills of self-kindness together, and benefit from a sense of community with this in-person programme in Gloucester (Friends Meeting House, GL1 1TS) 13th Sept – 1st Nov 2021, Mondays, 6.15pm-8.45pm (UK time).
We are delighted to be working together again to offer you practices and techniques to help cultivate stability, calm, grounding, connection, and uplift.
Lucy Chan teaches mindfulness, self-compassion and Buddhism internationally. She was trained directly by the internationally renowned pioneers of self-compassion Kristin Neff and Chris Germer, and she co-created the Self-Compassion programme for the nationally acclaimed mindfulness charity The Sharpham Trust. She also works as a doctor in the NHS; self-compassion practices helped her meet the challenges of a stressful job and her passion is to help others incorporate these practices into their lives. She recently delivered a TEDx talk on Fierce Compassion that you can watch on the official TED website here.
Jasmine has facilitated mindfulness groups for both children and adults for over 10 years. Most recently she helped train adult mindfulness facilitators in educational and community settings. She was trained to teach mindfulness by the internationally recognised teachers Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield, and has also undergone teacher training in Mindful Self Compassion.
