This program is brought you by the Centre on Behavioral Health, the University of Hong Kong. The program composes of 8 weekly sessions, and a half day silent retreat by Dr. Adrian Wan (Certified MSC Teacher). This is a full-length program as delivered by the program’s founders Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Christopher Germer (and the many MSC teachers around the world).
The 8-week MSC program is for those who wish to learn skills to enhance emotional resilience to cope with everyday stress through learning and practice of mindfulness and self-compassion skills. People with all religious faiths (or the lack of it) are welcome. No prior experience in mindfulness, or any other form of contemplative practices, is necessary to participate in this program.
The program will be conducted in Cantonese, supplemented with English terms and terminology. Exact time of the weekly sessions may vary, and registration details (e.g. fee arrangements, and registration website) will be announced later.
