In challenging times like these, it is more essential than ever to draw on our inner goodness, strength, and beauty. Yet, many of us believe that we have none of these qualities inside us. We feel incomplete, weak, or even bad. We search for these qualities in material goods and in others. Oftentimes, we fail to look inside. When we do, rather than touching these innate qualities, we torment ourselves with shame, guilt, or even hatred. Sometimes, we realize that we have been looking in the wrong places all along. We realize that we have been deceived by ourselves, the ones we loved, or the ones we chose to guide us.
“Finding our Inner Goodness” is a live teacher-led online retreat which has been carefully designed to help us find, touch, and savour our inner goodness, strength, and beauty … because we all have them inside us. It aims to help us get all the benefits of in-person retreats and more … from the comfort of our home.
Tapping into our innate resource of self-compassion and including a healthy balance of screen time and activities that involve getting up and moving away from our desk, this retreat offers the opportunity to:
o pause from the busyness of daily life;
o connect with our inner self;
o calm our mind;
o release physical tension;
o participate in several guided meditation exercises;
o have time on our own for self-reflection;
o virtually meet like-minded people;
o participate in interactive teachings; group discussions; and mindful self-compassion activities;
o ask questions; and
o share experiences (only if we voluntarily opt to – it is completely fine to share or not share)
Structured and held in a way to create a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment, it will offer an opportunity to deepen our understanding of the workings of the heart, mind, and body. It will help us connect with the goodness, strength, and beauty that we hold within.
WHO IS THIS RETREAT SUITABLE FOR?
o Those who have already undertaken MSC training and wish to deepen or refresh their practice;
o Those who are curious about MSC and are looking for a gentle introduction to it; and
o Those who would like to have a break from the chaos of daily life.
MODE OF DELIVERY
The retreat will be delivered live via Zoom. Zoom is a user-friendly online platform which has served us very well right from the start of the pandemic. After the registration process is complete, close to the date of the retreat, we will send you a link. Follow this link from a laptop, cell phone, i-pad or pc with a camera and a good internet connection. Make yourself comfortable and leave the rest to us!
If you are new to Zoom, it may be reassuring to know that initially, most of our clients were apprehensive about its use. But as the weeks and months went by, they grew to like it. Many are now reporting that they prefer having their one-to-one and group sessions online, from the comfort of their own home or office. They appreciate the fact that it saves them time commuting, getting stuck in traffic, and looking for a parking space.
Nevertheless, we understand that initially, an online retreat may feel unfamiliar or hard. For this reason, closer to the date, we will provide detailed instructions on how to make the necessary preparations to make it work for you. Furthermore, during the retreat itself, our seasoned retreat facilitator, will gently accompany and guide you moment by moment.

To register, please let us know of your intention to join and we will send you a registration form to complete and return to us. We endeavour to assess registration forms within a day or two from receipt.
Your place is fully confirmed when we approve of your registration and receive your full retreat payment.
