Self-compassion is a way of relating to yourself with kindness, care, and support, especially when you’re stressed or upset. For many of us, that doesn’t come as easily as we might expect. Being hard on yourself may seem necessary to succeed in life, but studies suggest just the opposite: self-compassion is a more productive and healthier approach than self-criticism. A growing body of research indicates that self-compassion has many benefits, including happiness, well-being, creativity, and satisfying relationships, while experiencing less anxiety and depression.
We teach the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) Short Course, an evidence-based program designed for busy people who want to learn core principles and skills of self-compassion. The goal of the course is to directly experience self-compassion and bring it into your daily life.
Please join us for a free online introductory session on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 6:00pm – 7:00pm PT if you’re interested in learning more about self-compassion or the MSC program. There is no obligation to enroll in the 6-course.
