Mindful Self-Compassion is all about relationship – warming up our relationship with ourselves, and resourcing us to be in more easeful, healthy and in loving relationships with others. Especially when life is difficult – like now! Relationships lie at the heart of everyone’s emotional life. We all need the support and encouragement of interpersonal connection, and feel the pain of disconnection very strongly. At other times our care for others can be painful, we feel depleted, resentful and shut-down. Do not despair! There is a way that we can navigate this with more skill and intention, leading to greater inner and outer peace. On this workshop you will learn ways to support yourself in the midst of general relationship stress with partners, family, friends or colleagues as well as in the context of relationships where we have a caring or a supporting role. This is a gift to yourself, and to those you care about…for these times of confinement and after the holiday season with all the relationship joys and challenges it brings. Workshop will include some teaching, sharing, meditation, self-reflection and discussion. Requirements to attend : beginners are welcome. Some meditation experience will be helpful. £25
