Mindful Self Compassion leads the way for an inner adventure. This two hour introduction to MSC is an opportunity for participants to explore the power of mindfulness and compassion. The workshop will provide simple tools for responding in a kind, compassionate way whenever we are experiencing painful emotions. Through discussion, meditation, and experiential exercises, participants gain practical skills in mindfulness and compassion. Highlights on the rapidly expanding research into self-compassion will be provided, and several informal self-compassion practices for use in daily life will be taught.
Fortunately, self-compassion is a skill that can be cultivated by anyone.
