Course Navigation

Do you find yourself struggling to stay connected and compassionate – with clients, colleagues, family & friends, or even yourself? Despite learning more and working harder, you’re still frustrated, stuck and confused… not to mention exhausted? If so, you are not alone.

Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an 8-week empirically supported program designed to help participants cultivate the skill of self-compassion. Rapidly expanding research demonstrates that that self-compassion is strongly associated with reduced stress, anxiety and depression, increased maintenance of healthy habits, more satisfying personal relationships and decreased sense of burnout and emotional exhaustion among professional caregivers. And, it’s easier than you think!

26 CEUs are available through the MO State Committee for Social Workers for those who complete the course.
Participants should plan to attend all sessions and engage in daily practice.

Course is 8 weeks in length, with a half day retreat on April 21st. There will be a break week April 28th.

Class size will be limited to 10.
