Mindful Self-Compassion Inner Resiliency Training for Healthcare Professionals is a new program adapted by Kristin Neff, PhD, specifically for the healthcare setting that aims to improve wellbeing and decrease burnout among healthcare professionals.
Participants of the program will learn tools and skills to care for yourself while caring for others; to listen with compassion; to handle difficult emotions with greater ease; and to reconnect to the values that give your life and work meaning. Mindful Self-Compassion practices can be used on the spot while at work with patients, clients and colleagues.
Cornelia Kip Lee, MEd, is offering this program in the Durham-Raleigh area beginning in November 2017. The training typically consists of four, 90-minute sessions, however the length of sessions can be customized for staff needs.
Location: Your facility, institution or other location to be arranged.
Cost: $100–$140 per participant (TBD with the facility or organization, based on number of participants)
