With self-compassion, we can motivate ourselves with encouragement, forgive ourselves when needed, care for others while caring for ourselves, and live more bravely and authentically.

This MSC Short Course is an abridged version of the 8-week MSC program. Program activities include guided meditation, short talks, experiential exercises, group discussion, and home practices. We will focus on growing emotional resources and cultivating mindfulness in our everyday lives.

This class will help you:

  • Motivate yourself with kindness rather than criticism
  • Handle difficult emotions with greater ease
  • Transform challenging relationships, old and new
  • Practice self-compassion in daily life
  • Manage caregiver fatigue
  • Practice the art of savoring and self-appreciation
  • Understand the empirically-supported benefits of self-compassion
