Around 80% of us are more compassionate towards others than we are towards ourselves. And we’re giving our kindness away to the detriment of our wellbeing. Self-compassion practices help balance up the scales, giving us tools to tend to ourselves when we most need it. Mindfulness is a beautiful vehicle through which to calm our mind, body and soul, and practice loving ourselves up!
In this 6 week course we’ll explore some of the core practices from the Mindful Self-Compassion curriculum designed by Kristin Neff and Christopher Germer. Through meditations, exercises and group sharing we’ll practice tried and true methods for learning how to be our own best friend. Taught by Certified Mindful Self-Compassion teacher, Kristy Arbon. Classes will be 1 hour and 15 minutes long, running from 6:00-7:15pm in the workshop space at the beautiful Joy of Yoga in St Louis.
