Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) is an 8-week, training program, based on the groundbreaking research of Kristin Neff and the clinical expertise of Chris Germer. It is designed to cultivate the skill of self-compassion.
Rapidly expanding research demonstrates that self-compassion is strongly associated with emotional wellbeing, less anxiety and depression and reduced stress levels. It can support the maintenance of healthy habits such as diet and exercise and has been shown to lead to greater resilience and strength.
Join us on our Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) training programme where we explore self-care, self-kindness and learn the tools of mindful self-compassion.
People are welcome with or without previous meditation experience.
The course will be facilitated by Julia Sweetman (Certified MSC teacher and Nutritional Therapist) and Orla Burchael (MSC teacher, Clinical Psychologist and Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction teacher).
This 8-week MSC training officially qualifies as one of the pre-requisites for the MSC Teacher Training.
