Please join us for this free event to learn more about the Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) offers through the Change Through Compassion program at Samaritan Counseling Center. MSC supports individuals in becoming more mindful and compassionate in their relationships with themselves and others. Research on self-compassion has shown that it boosts happiness, reduces anxiety and depression, and can even help maintain healthy lifestyle habits such as diet and exercise. We offer both an 8-week Workshop and a Core Skills Intensive, which are great follow ups to any other Mindfulness program (MBSR, Mindful Eating etc.). Change Through Compassion is a compassion skills building program rather than solely being focused on meditation.
