Join me on the journey through a short-course in mindful self-compassion to boost your skills of holding yourself with kindness and understanding, including your inner critic to live a more wholesome, loving life.

We will meet live online, every Sunday, 09 Oct – 27 Nov 2022 (SKIPS 30 Oct and 06 Nov), 12-1:30pm Eastern US/Canada, to practice and share, listen and learn together.

The course is open to everyone and welcomes oppressed and marginalized individuals, in particular members of the LGBTQIA2S+ community to which I belong.

We will learn about theories of self-compassion, engage in self-compassion practices and exercises to motivate ourselves with kindness, hold difficult emotions with more ease and explore challenging relationships to others and ourselves.

AN INVITATION TO A BRAVE SPACE
Together we will create brave space
Because there is no such thing as a “safe space”
We exist in the real world
We all carry scars and we have all caused wounds.
In this space
We seek to turn down the volume of the outside world.
We amplify voices that fight to be heard elsewhere,
We call each other to more truth and love
We have the right to start somewhere and continue to grow.
We have the responsibility to examine what we think we know.
We will not be perfect.
It will not always be what we wish it to be
But
It will be our brave space together,

We will work on it side by side.
