Keeping up a healthy meditation practice amid the distractions and unexpected turns of life is both an anchor and a challenge. Extended silent retreat practice is a vital way to nourish our practice, deepen our awareness, and cultivate our capacity for compassion and kindness toward ourselves and others. Silent retreats are life enhancing for all who attend, including those who work with mindfulness-based interventions.

This retreat is an opportunity to renew and deepen your practice of mindfulness meditation and living fully. We will follow a rigorous retreat schedule in a supportive and beautiful environment enhanced by silence with experienced teachers. If you have questions about the retreat you may ask Beth at beth@mindful-way.com or Jon at mindfulnessnyc@gmail.com. All other questions can be directed toward info@copperbeechinstitute.org.

The retreat begins with a buffet dinner on Monday, October 3, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. and concludes with lunch around noon on Saturday, October 8, 2016. Tuition is $660 plus accommodations. This program is eligible for Boundless Heart Fund Scholarships. Apply for a scholarship here.

Notes

This silent retreat is a qualifying prerequisite for the MSC Teacher Training. It also fulfills the UMASS Center for Mindfulness/Oasis Training requirement for the Practicum in MBSR.
