Previously trained in psychology and drama I finished the Counselling Psychology Doctorate in the UK and worked in the NHS for 10 years. Since I started to practice mindfulness in a more formal and disciplined way in 2010 I got on the MBCT and MBSR teacher training path and have facilitated about 8 groups. The mindful self-compassion training felt as a precious gift and came into my life at the most vital moment. While teaching my first MSC group I could see how mindfully this course has been set up and how worthwhile it was for participants. I now feel that everything I have learned so far is slowly starting to make sense and fall into place, so from here I like to contribute to ongoing teachings and research, especially for teens. I hope to teach as many people as I can because I think that the MSC can be beneficial for everybody to be more fully present and embrace life in a continuous way.
