I am a Cuban-American living in New Hampshire. I have been teaching Mindful Self Compassion (MSC) since 2014. For the Circles of Practice for MSC Graduates, I manage the day-to-day operations and facilitate weekly online meditation sessions. I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to support the mindfulness and self-compassion practices of our ever-growing MSC graduate and teacher communities.
I work as a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in mindfulness-based psychotherapy, with a certificate in Mindfulness and Psychotherapy from the Institute for Meditation and Psychotherapy. I offer individual psychotherapy in a private practice setting in Andover, MA. I earned my Doctoral degree in Psychology from American University in Washington, DC.
As a trained teacher in Mindfulness Awareness Practices (MAPs), I taught mindfulness as part of the Pathways to Wellness research study on the benefits of mindfulness and education in breast cancer patients at Dana-Farber in Boston, MA.
