Dawn MacDonald, MSW, RSW, is the cofounder of The Mindfulness and Well Being Consultancy, Inc with her husband Dr. Michael Collins-McIntyre. With over 30 years experience in Healthcare and Human Service from front line service in acute adult mental health, adolescent trauma, and psychosocial oncology to the C-suite in Ethics and Spiritual Care, Dawn has developed sustainable organizational strategies as well as accompanied individual practitioners in their journeys towards mindfulness, compassion, resilience, and equanimity. She holds certification both as a trainer and a teacher of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction from the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, the birthplace of MBSR and is also certified by the University of California at San Diego in MBSR and Mindful Self Compassion and is a trainer/mentor for CMSC. Also certified to teach Stanford University’s Compassion Cultivation Training, she is a senior instructor with the Institute for Mindful Leadership and sits as a member of the International Mindfulness Integrity Network. She loves her large blended family of 6 now adult children and growing with partners, two grandchildren, her dogs Henry and June, and of course - her blessed Anam Cara, Michael.
