In a period of great change after starting a new chapter in my professional journey as well as relocating from Europe to South-East Asia, I was drawn to Mindful Self-compassion as a readily available source of internal comfort and strength.
I established a regular daily mindfulness practice whilst attending courses in Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Mindful Self-Compassion (MSC) in Germany in 2015. My continued curiosity led me to further courses and workshops at Singapore Management University, such as Mindfulness-based Leadership Development with Dr. Jochen Reb, Mindfulness-based Strategic Awareness Training (MBSAT) with Juan Humberto Young as well Breathworks for Mindfulness and Compassion Vidyamala Burch and Sona Fricker.
In May 2020 I gained my Trained MSC Teacher status with the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion and attended Teacher Training with ‘Arbor Seminare’ in Austria in October 2018. I have an M.A. (Hons.) in Educational and Social & Organisational Psychology from Ludwig-Maximilian University, Munich, Germany.
To date, I have facilitated mindfulness practices both in person and on-line during corporate training, executive coaching, for private groups as well as on a pro-bono basis with choir singers, runners and primary school children.
I am a dual citizen of the UK and Germany and have lived on three continents in Germany, USA and Singapore since leaving the UK 19 years ago.
