Kim is a trained Mindful Self-Compassion Teacher, Life Coach, Group Facilitator and Yoga Instructor. She has 10 years of experience delivering leadership and development training in schools, outdoor education and wilderness therapy programs.
In 2015 Kim discovered the gift of mindful self-compassion, providing her with much needed inner strength and tools to take good care of herself when going through a particularly difficult time. Realizing the tremendous benefit these practices can bring to one’s daily life, health and happiness, she went on to train as an MSC teacher in 2016 and now weaves MSC into all aspects of her personal and professional life wherever she can.
In addition, in 2017, Kim joined the Center for MSC as the Teacher Relations Manager and supports all MSC teachers across the globe to ensure that highest standards of training and delivery of the MSC program.
Originally from the UK, Kim worked and travelled across the globe for several years before making her home in Portland, Oregon. She currently teaches the 8-week MSC program, offers emotional resilience workshops, retreats and one-on-one coaching in the wider Portland area and online.
Practicing self-acceptance and self-love is an ongoing learning journey which she enjoys practicing and sharing with others, with as much courage she can muster!
