I earned my MSW in 1997 and specialized in working with children, teens, and families. While raising my own children, I began practicing yoga in search of deeper connections in my life. On the mat, I found a sense of coming home to an embodied practice. Around the same time, I participated in the Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction program and began weaving mindfulness and meditation into my world. As time went on, yoga and mindfulness became integral parts of my life, and I stepped on the path to teaching.
I provide a nurturing presence, creating a safe environment for clients to explore their practice. I understand that all people are unique and believe that yoga and mindful self-compassion are not a “one size fits all” experience. My work encourages the incorporation of mindfulness and internal awareness, all while coming from a place of lightness and fun.
I live in Saratoga Springs with my four children whom I homeschool. I delight in my role as mom to four energetic and happy children, my truest teachers. When not practicing yoga, you can find me in the woods with my dog, or knitting.
