She worked as a bank manager for 12 years in Turkey and Austria. In 2016, she decided to take a break and started her travels to Nepal and India. During those trips, she stayed in highly recognised Tibetan Buddhist Centers (like FMPT) for 7 months and took several courses about Buddhism, Mindfulness, Compassion, Positive Psychology and Meditation. Also attended different retreats between 10-40 days.
When she is back to Turkey in 2017, she decided to focus on mind training and started to teach mindfulness and compassion to individuals and in corporates. She is opening MBSR, MBCT-L (Oxford University) and MSC Courses regularly, both available in Turkish and English. She also organizes retreats.
Her lifelong motivation is to make mindfulness and compassion practices more accessible in Turkey. Also, in the long term to increase awareness of individuals and institutions that mindfulness and compassion can be widely used as a preventative health care practice for general public in Turkey. With this vision, as well as class trainings, she also works on digital projects to increase the digital presence of mindfulness and compassion in Turkish language.
