Rose Mina draws upon mindfulness-based techniques and programs to help reduce stress, process trauma, increase compassion, manage change, increase well-being and focus, re-connect with core values, and improve relationships. As an accomplished facilitator, Rose Mina specializes in evidence-based mindfulness interventions including MBSR, MBCT, and MSC. She regularly leads mindfulness-based courses and workshops for executives, leaders, and employees of different organizations including MasterCard, Rotman School of Management, Polar, Evolve, IBM, The 519 Community Center, University of Toronto, The Centre for Mindfulness Studies, and United Steelworkers Union.
Having graduated from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Business, Rose Mina holds facilitator certifications from the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies Applied Mindfulness Meditation Program, the Center for Mindfulness Studies, University of California San Diego, and the Center for Mindful Self Compassion. She has broad-ranging international business experience having retained senior-level Business Process Analysis and Systems Integration roles in the financial services, technology, not-for-profit and education sectors. Rose Mina has taught people of various backgrounds privately, at retreats, studios, schools and organizations. She holds a BMATH and MBA, she is an I.T. Consultant and Certified Mindfulness Facilitator from University of Toronto AMM-MIND, she is certified in MBSR, MBCT, and a trained MSC teacher; she is also a candidate for registration with CRPO, and a candidate for a Masters in Spiritual Care and Counselling in Buddhism with Psychotherapy. Rose also has over 500 hours of Yoga teacher training plus Restorative and Therapeutics. She facilitates for the Center for Mindfulness Studies, The University of Toronto, Mindful Wellness, Mindfulness Everyday, and Mindfulness without Borders and works as a technology consultant. I am interested in collaborating and co-teaching with others. I love to teach yoga and I practice 5 rythms dance as well. I also speak several languages including Spanish quite well and I'm interested in traveling to teach MSC. I am certified in MBSR and MBCT and pursuing certification in MSC.
