When to take the Self-Compassion for Shame TTP
The Shame TTP is a new Professional Training course. The Shame TTP was designed to support Trained and Certified MSC Teachers who would also like to teach the 8-week Self-Compassion for Shame Course. It is required that you meet all prerequisites and recommended that you have taken the 8 Week SC for Shame Course.

Overview
The Shame TTP provides experienced teachers with a “laboratory” to dive deeper into the Shame curriculum and explore teaching this curriculum with other Trained and Certified MSC Teachers. This cohort model allows participants the opportunity to build an environment of safety and support among colleagues as a source of encouragement and assistance to further their Shame SC Teaching.
Each week focuses on two weeks of the Shame-SC sessions. All trainees must come prepared to teach each session in its entirety just as you would prepare a whole class if you were teaching your own group. Please note that this represents a considerable time investment! Trainees are then assigned to lead the various practices, topics and exercises of that session, with periods of feedback and discussion - so no one trainee will be teaching the entire class, usually at most just one piece each session but preparing the whole class is invaluable learning and preparation for becoming an Shame-SC Teacher and is an integral part of the Practicum training.
All TTPs are held online via the Zoom platform and each weekly session is 2.5 hours duration. Full instruction will be given on how to log in and prepare for your first session approximately one week before the start date.

Your Commitment
Please plan to attend all 5 sessions. For successful completion of the Shame TTP, attendance at all 5 sessions is required. In the case of an unplanned issue, you will need to address it with your Senior Practicum Trainer for negotiation.
