Teen Teacher Zoom Consultation Sessions
Duration / Format: Live Online – 5 sessions
Cost: $500 USD
- 5 sessions, 45 minutes each
- Total contact time: 3.75 hours
- CEU credits are NOT available
- Participants will select from our list of Zoom Mentors indicated in the email once they sign up for these consultations (listed below). Participants can reach out to a Zoom mentor and together with the Zoom Mentor, they will decide upon the meeting schedule.
- Sessions should be booked alongside your teacher (1st before you class, 2nd between weeks 2-3, 3rd after week 5, 4th between 6-7, and 5th at the end of the course).
- You must use your zoom consultations in the year that you purchase them.
- Contact information for the Zoom consultation host will be offered upon registration. Please don't reach out until you have purchased your five sessions.
We are not offering reduced rates on Zoom Consultation sessions this year, but please take advantage of the payment plans available through Shoppay (if within the US), Paypal or Apple Pay that you will see on the checkout page if you feel the need.

Marina Barnes
Marina Barnes brings mindfulness into high school classrooms and is a Self-Compassion Teacher & Coach — using nonviolent communication and the practices in MSC as the core of my coaching practice. I am a MSC and MSC-Teens Trained Teacher, a MSC-Teens Teacher Trainer and Mentor, and a Trauma Sensitive Mindfulness Practitioner. I am currently a student of Dr Gabor Mate’s Compassionate Inquiry yearlong professional training and plans to incorporate this modality into my work.

Lea Christo
Lea Christo, MSW, LICSW, BCPA is an Associate Professor of Practice, in the graduate School Counseling Program at Assumption University. She coordinates the Resiliency in the Helping Professions Certificate of Advanced Graduate Studies program and teaches courses in school social work and family counseling, collaboration, and engagement.
Ms. Christo received her Master of Social Work degree from Boston College and is a Trained Teacher in Mindful Self-Compassion; Mindful Self-Compassion for Teens; Self-Compassion for Health Care Communities and is a teacher trainer of Self-Compassion for Teens through the Center for Mindful Self-Compassion. She is also certified in Dr. Stephen Porges’ Safe & Sound Protocol through Integrated Learning Systems.

Lisa Shetler
Lisa is a registered Clinical Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration
Agency (AHPRA) and accredited psychology supervisor with the Psychology Board of Australia.
She is a visiting lecturer at the University of Adelaide in the field of child psychology, and works
with the Centre for Mindfulness and Self Compassion as a teacher and trainer of their teen
program. Lisa is the consultant psychologist to the National Theatre for Children’s Mind Masters
program, which aims to increase awareness of mental health among primary school students.
In her clinical work, Lisa supports children, adolescents and families with complex trauma and
mental health difficulties. The rest of her time is spent training and supervising the team at her
child and adolescent practice - FLOW Psychology & Therapeutic Services, where she is the
Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist.
Lisa is also the Co-Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at Embrace Psychological Care &
Consulting, an adult practice which provides mindfulness and self-compassion based services,
clinical supervision and workplace training. She is trained in EMDR, Mindfulness Based Stress
Reduction and a range of cognitive and behavioral approaches.
My time zone is Adelaide, Australia (ACDT (GMT+10:30). I have a fair degree of flexibility in regards to finding times to connect with students, with Thursday/Friday/Saturday being my preferred and most flexible days.
Dominique Sullivan
Dominique Sullivan B.B.A , B.Ed, M.Ed lives in Nanaimo, BC on beautiful Vancouver Island. As a school librarian, she provides a safe space for students and focuses on wellness. She has been teaching Mindful Self Compassion for teens since 2018 and became a teacher trainer for the center of MSC in 2021 for the teen program. Focus for mentorship - Meet teachers where they are at and tailor the mentorship sessions for their personal needs and growth.
